yes you are correct. CFM is used to measure flow through an object. If you are speaking of turbocharging, the larger the turbo the more it can flow at a given psi. Example. A T3 Super60 turbo may flow 34 CFM @ 8 psi vs a T28 turbo that flows 25 CFM @ 8 psi. (These numbers arent acurate, just an example)
People usually use psi as a broad unit of measurement when really its all about the flow rate of the turbo itself. The bigger the snail the more she blows.
