Where were you 9/11 *Merged*

Okay.. this is one of those things.. that.. you'll always remember that day.. everyone will.. the whole nation was shook.. Where were you// what were you doing??

I remember going to school... and all of the teachers had the tv's on .. watching what was going on... even though there was such slow progress early on.. it was like all anyone was talking about.. you'd go up to someone and you'd instantly be talking about it.. before you began the conversation.. I have a terrible memory (lol...) but this was one of those days that you just cant forget.. what about you guys :]?

I was in my Dynamics class in second year Uni. Prof was late and when he came in he told us about what had happened.

That was a messed up day for sure

5 Minutes later they did. I got a BUNCH of weird looks.

I was working at a Toyota Dealership. The news came from the Sales Manager so thought it was a crock of shit. Then turned on the TV

Seem to remember it being a really eerie feeling after the second plane hit and had to wonder how many more were going to crash after the pentagon was hit.

I was sitting in my office at 615am when a co worker came in and said that a airplane had crashed into a building. We did not beleive him and told him to go back to work.

We checked CNN, and that is all we did all day after that.

Was working that day at the airport. All planes were grounded and powered off for security reasons, it was like a ghost town, never seen the airport in dead silence before.

I was in my second period class (i think it was english) when I heard about it. We spent the rest of the day watching it over and over on TV's throughout the school. I didn't actually see the towers collapse until I got home though. All I saw during school was the towers getting hit and people staring at it.

Watching it on TV before I left for work - I ended up going in late (and leaving early).

14 days before, when i was in NYC, we visited the towers.

The day of, I woke up really early, and left for school before anything had happened ( 0 period ). None of the teachers really talked about it. I just kept hearing people talk about it all day, but I didnt really beleive them.

I flew home from Belgium 2 days before the attack happened. If I was two days later I would have been stuck in Belgium for a extra month.

It was my second day of undergrad, first day of "important class". I showed up a little late (off to a great start eh?) and the prof locked the doors. It's the schools fault for writing on the sched. that it was at 9:30 when it was really at 9. So I went back to rez and someone mentioned it was hit. I was still thinking about my school stuff so I wasn't really paying attention. I though he was talking about the world's fair (from the simpons - with the wig tower). I shrugged it off, went to watch tv, and said, oh shit!

My initial thoughts were that Bush had some knowledge of this and allowed it or was involved in order to boost the defense budget (its $1 trillion now right?). Well I still haven't been proved that was wrong.

I was in Columbia, SC attending USC. My roomate was banging on my bedroom wall to wake me up. We watched for about an hour then headed to class to only watch dome more tv. Professor let us out early and read a memo telling us we didnt have to go to any other classes that day.

I was working on the demo stage of a renovation job that morning. The news came over the radio and the size of the plane was unclear so we all assumed it was a small cessna or something carrying only a few people. Then the second plane hit, then the Pentagon, and then the flight that fought back... We took an early lunch and went to the Poughkeepsie Galleria to get a look at the news on tv. We went right to Best Buy who had every single tv in the store tuned to the same channel showing the horror that was unfolding. We found ourselves gasping in awe, just like the crowds of people that gathered around the televisions... Things were just different after that and not much work got done for the rest of the day...
