Wow, you guys like that "this is why I'm hot" song? I thought it was pretty much the dumbest song I ever heard.

I'm hot cause I'm fly
You hate cause you not
This is why (this is why)
This is why I'm hot
I'm hot cause I'm fly
You ain't cause you not
This is why (this is why)
This is why I'm hot

I mean come on thats just ******* retarded.

And on topic, I've had Insomniac Olympics by Blockhead stuck in my head all day.

For all you that are posting rap songs, please come back to this thread in a year and tell me if those are still your favorite songs. Rap songs never stay popular long. As soon as something else comes out, everyone jumps on to the other song, abandoning the 3 week old rap song like a runt of a litter.

i dont know if you never liked rap or just not the new stuff....i have to agree that rap ahs gone WAY downhill...but you cant forget about the classics

wutang, nas, jayz(mostly reasonable doubt), and just about whatever DJ premeir produces will be amazing

if you listen to just the radio i cant blame you for having that opinion about rap...worst song ever has got to be jibbs-chain hang low

EDIT: worst song mentioned above is contending with chicken noodle soup......

Tical - Method Man

The newer rap sucks unless your Snoop! Old school is where it's at and always will be. Old school rap, old school rock, old school country.

Metallica, any album before the Black Album....last one is regular;

RHCP, Rush, Pear Jam...any album, any song.

You guys should look for Chico Science e Nação Zumbi and know a little of maracatu; I also recommend Cordel do Fogo Encantado, for those that really like and appreciate good music.

Oh, I don't have a bad opinion about rap. Sorry it came off that way. I was just trying to state at how quickly it goes out of favor. You're right that some of it does stand the test of time (e.g. Dr. Dre's The Chronic), but for the most part it seems to go in and out of favor very quickly.
