It's never too late to start... It's trying and humbling no matter how long you train for which I guess is why some never start and some never stop.

Nice man! You have a beautiful country! I was in Brazil about 2 years ago and I stayed for a couple weeks. I was stayed in Sao Paolo, Ilheus (which was the best), and Patos De Minas, MG... I can't wait to go back!

Capoeira is bad ass but it's more of a dance than a martial art really. It's cool to watch though!

Where in Bahia? (Iīll not speak in portuguese....I can be banned...LOL)....I have family at Salvador, every year I go there and hang out for about 30 days. In a couple of year I want to open a bar or something like it at Praia do Forte....and of course, spent the rest of my life there.....hehehehehe....

Iīve praticed capoeira for years and had to quit because of my health condition......itīs a great sport....people said that itīs a dance because of itīs history (it was brought form africa by slaves, and when they were permforming it or praticing it, they slowed down the movement so it wont appear that it was a fight style) .....if my doctor say that Iīm 100% again, Iīll back to pratice capoeira again.

At the game Tekken 3, the guy who was used like model (and got all the moves scanned) is a brazilian capoeira master....I canīt remember his name now, but a TV Channel here made a interview with him when Tekken 3 was released.

I love it when people say that! Like any martial art, it's only effective when you are REALLY good at it...

I always wanted to try Krav Maga. Did BJJ for a couple months or so, but then the trainer guy quit =( Was so fun too.
