i was in the US today and all i can say is woooo cheap gas. worked out to about 60 cents canadian per litre.

also came back with abuncha clothes- woo duty at the border.

I don't speak French and I can get around Montreal fine. Lots of people who live there don't speak French themselves!

Went down to grand forks with the girlfriend for the day.

Ended up with---
Volcom belt buckle (5.00 @ pacsun)
hurley belt buckle (5.00 @ pacsun)

Misc t-shirts (5-10.00)
argyle sweater (regular 50 something- on sale for 10)
a ton of candy/pop we dont get up in canada.

The girlfriend got a ton of clothes. All in all we spent like 200 USD and paid 30.00 CDN in duty. Gas was about 500 km's (just around a full tank). Plus lunch/dinner/snacks.

It was a nice drive. I love doing 75 MPH on the interstate (120 km/h).

I'm still here in Montreal. I ate Poutine tonight. Mmmmmm, yummy, got it with the works. I'll be here until tomorrow night.

I'll tell you, what a town, beautiful. Also, the young pretty women are everywhere here. I'm old and married, but it would be like shooting fish in a barrel for you young single guys. Honest, they're all gorgeous women here. Too bad it's cold and they have to cover up to stay warm. Summertime has to be very distracting for guys.

I really want to visit canada :/ i always wanted to, but im more interested in putting my money into my si than vacation right now lol, one day i will tho, cause jersey doesnt have a lot of 8th gen owners that are really into their cars and meets, it kinda sucks, seems like majority of the meets are in canada, cali, or florida
