What could I do if the dealer did this?

Awhile ago, when I got my ECU reflashed at my local Honda dealer, Im pretty sure they took my car out for a joy ride. Well, I was just wondering, what could I do if they did do it next time, if I ever go back. Would that be a lawsuit?

You'll gonna need some damning evidence.

I would take a picture of the odometer when you drop the car off (make sure you have the time & date stamp activated). If there are more than 5 miles, you can start bringing the beatdown to the service manager.

definitely speak your mind to the service mgr...and be specific as to what you expect from your evidence you present. i used to work at a dealership specifically service...so i know when a cust comes in with a valid complaint the mgr i used to work for def got bent over by the cust....be firm but not rude...you'll go farther with the conversation....just my .02$

joyride or testdriving to see if the problem's still there?
Either way, talk to the manager.
