so last night around 3am i go to drop off my girl at her dorm. i pull into a parking spot, turn the car off, we're talking for a couple of minutes and these two guys walk by on the sidewalk infront of us. One of them randomly gives a little kick to the front of my bumper!!! i look at my girl all she's says is 'please don't', i get out and say 'hey dude what the f*ck?!?!' he turned around all surprised b/c he didn't think anyone was in the car and started to stammer 'oh sorry man, i'm so sorry' his buddy told said sorry dude he's really wasted right now. After inspecting that there was no damage i cooled down and basically told the jackass that wasted or not its completely dick to mess around with other peoples cars, and i got back in and drove off. in retrospect the dumba$$ will no doubt do it again sometime and all i did was make myself feel better at the time, and cause my girl undo stress. All i can say is this is redic the lack of respect people have for other peoples cars and possessions. this makes me want to move to some remote beach hut and just stay the hell away from people!!

damage or not I would have delivered a kick to that assholes face.. **** that shit, I work too damn hard to pay for my car to let people get away with damaging it, and furthermore what does it matter if someone was in the car or not?? Makes you wonder what happens to your car whenever you cant be near it. This is why I constantly peek out the window at it... People say I am obsessed and that its just a car... Yeah right... **** that

wow...
i hope people reading this thread are matured enough not to do stupid things when facing this scenario. if you want to stand up and be brave, then by all means be brave. just make sure u are ready for it. i tried to stand up for my car last year when a guy kicked my headlight in a restaurant parking lot. i got out and my instinct of course is to beat up the guy but it didn't happen. he pulled a gun on me and next thing i knew the barrel was kissing my lips. lesson learned: i love my car but i'm not ready to die for it. so what if there's damage, i'm sure it's fixable. if it's a mclaren or enzo then maybe... just maybe.

What the hell is wrong with people. Seriously.
How can people have such disrespect for other people's property? I truthfully don't get it. What would drive you to kick another person's car, especially when you don't even know the person, or have anything against the person? People make me sick. |

Hell no - of course it's not just a car. who the hell says s*** like that. I just had my car stolen last month and i'm so sick of everyone saying it was just a car. Not to me- she's was so much more.

i'd think i was smart about the situation, i didn't want to come to blows with the guy (getting assault charges over a car is silly). its just a frustrating situation like some of you guys have stated, people disrespect your stuff and there's nothing you can do about it.
