I don't know, maybe it's just because it's the first of its kind and still has some bugs to work out.

And they were fooling around a bit, it would probably work a little better if they were trying to do it more seriously.

ok ok guys that video was funny but if you dont know how to use the auto park feature then it wont work for you.

i work for a lexus dealership and yes personally i feel that the feature is usless, but if you have to parrallel park in a spot that would be to difficult to get into by your own driving skills then this feature is worth it...

first of all when you come up to a spot you have to drive past it to a point that the rear view camera can see the open spot...then you have to select which type of parking you want the car to perform parrallel or you standard parking...

...after you have selected what type of parking, you have to allign a box in the nav screen that represents your parking spot...if you cant get it to be all green then the system is telling you that the spot is to small...

...finally after you have a green box you select ok...now this is where those guys went wrong...you have to apply slight pressure to the break...if you apply to much back the car wont move and if you take your foot off the brake completly, the system turns off due to to much acceleration.

...if you keep slight pressure on the brake that car will perform the parrallel or standard parking easily, o and you'll be amazed just how good of a system this is b/c it can get you into parking spots that a person driving themselves would never be able to get into...it a big car...

...its really really fun to be behind the wheel and allow the car to park itself...its really not that difficult of a thing to do...but this all this said, yes its really cool but honestly how many times will you use it...

but its alot of fun haha! at work we test just how good the parking system is and no this system doesn't have any bugs to work out!

lol idk if i'd trust it. it would be freaky but i guess if you use it properly you could trust it and stuff. but idk im not use to big cars like that so i would be a little hesitant.
