Lost: Season 3

Well, tonight's the night. Anyone planning on watching this season? I'm anxious to see the opening scene. I hear it's going to blow us away!

I know if I watch one, I'll be hooked. And frankly I don't have the time. One of these days I need to get myself the DVDs and relax with them.

Yes, its #1 on the Family Room TiVO's season pass.

And complicated is good. I hate shows that have no plot worth watching. What is the point?

Just got home from watching it on my buddy's HDTV. I won't spoil anything for those that haven't seen it yet, but it was pretty darn good. More unanswered questions, which are good...I guess. The opening sequence was slightly predicable. I enjoyed it though, but it wasn't as suspenseful as the producers would have you believe for the past 3 or 4 weeks. But then again, that's how they draw you in.

Anyway, I can't wait until next week's episode!

Normally season premieres would answer questions left behind from last seasons cliffhanger, but noooooooo not lost. It answered absolutely NOTHING and just left a billion more questions Im so tempted to go to a lost forum and read some spoilers...

I agree; lots of commercials, very annoying.

I got into Lost a couple weeks ago when the S2 DVD set came out. I bought both seasons to see what all they hype was about. Best/worst $80 I ever spent (I say "worst" because I stayed up til at least 2 a.m. watching it). I had to finish before S3 premiered.

As for the season premiere, I loved it; plopped on the couch and checked it out on 16x9 HD w/ the 5.1 goin. Opening scene was pretty crazy. I did miss a few lines (my mom was trying to talk to me), so I'll have to DL it and watch it again. Anyone else check out the fan sites and forums to read up on theories?

^The commercials seem to occur more often but I think theyre shorter. If you dl the episode neways itll prolly run 42-45 min total which is about standard for 1 hour shows.

As far as fansites, I check out www.4815162342.com about twice a week to catch up. Wednesday nights it's nearly impossible to get on because the server can't handle the load of all the fans logging on.

And yes, commercials during Lost are insane.

I'm a Lost nut you could say. I read the forums and various sites to see close up pics of scenes I missed etc...

I recommend www.lost.cubit.com. Check out the investigations link to see close up shots of the blast door, Walt's backwards talk translated and other great bits of info.

Last nights show, awesome as usual.

Can't wait to see it next week...mainly cause my HD dish from directTV gets installed the day before! :)

Great season opener. I was yelling at the TV half of the time!

If you can't handle a show that has more questions than answers, then move on.

As far as sites go, check out www.lostpedia.com

Lost fanatic here...I have a theatre in my basement so me and my girlfriend watch it all the time...didn't get to see last night though. Has anyone listened to the whispers online...they do some audio stuff and you can hear the voices well....some crazy stuff.

You can hear the voice of Boone in the one right before sarah gets killed. He talks about dieing sucks and stuff, pretty crazy.

You can find the whispers on several sites. But, this is probably the best:

http://lostwhispering.blogspot.com/

As far as missing it last night, go to ABC.com and watch it there. They should have it up for a week or so for free. After that, your best bet is iTunes or a not so legal downloading service, although I don't recommend the former.

That's right. The former.
