"You know what really grinds my gears..."

Use this thread to post anything that "really grinds your gears." It can be about anything, cars, relationships, people, problems, etc.

One thing that annoys me, and I see it often on RSX's are the JDM red honda badge. It doesn't matter to me that Honda/Acura are now basically the same company. You still bought an Acura...not a Honda. It is basically saying like you bought an integra, and than badge it as a Type R. It is false badging and it is a pet peeve of mine.

There are more that I cant think of at the moment, but I will post when I do.

maybe its because the rsx is called the Honda integra in japan, same car. so they want to make their car more jdm by buying the jdm badges. suprising that it really grinds your gears.

I hate it when people can't resist revving their engines when next to me at a light.A little blip of the throttle is ok when saying hi or trying to get someones attention to ask something but revving for like three seconds over and over again is freaking annoying.Alot of the times it's from some punk kid in an old @$$ car that looks like it's about to die and the rest of the times it's from some domestic rust bucket looking to race. That's not so bad(or was'nt) becasue I used to be a sucker for a street race but it gets irritating when you just wanna get somewhere quietly and legally.

When people are always asking me to do things because i might be more "reliable". For example someone i know needs a ride to the airport or picked up from somewhere. I'm always the one getting asked over and over again and its fustrating cause sometimes you dont want to be put out of your way.

Also people that constantly "grill"/stare at other people. Sometimes your walking around chilling and some faggot always wants to stare you down in a macho contest. Shit pisses me off, one of these days i'm gonna just stare down at the floor and act like i'm scared than just sucker punch one of them right in their mouth.

• People who open their car doors into your car when parked.
• People who cannot seem to figure out what the turn signal is used for.
• People who cannot seem to figure out how behave at a 4-way stop.
• Rock hauling trucks. All of them. Every single one.
• People who pull out into traffic RIGHT in front of you, requiring the immediate, and agressive testing of your ABS system...
• The emergency lane is not for passing, jack_ss. We are all stopped in the same traffic...
• Each and every 'hey what's your MPG?' thread that gets started.
• "I got a ticket for being stupid" threads
• Gas stations...I know I need them, but I loath them nonetheless.
• People who insist on bring their crying babies to PG13+ rated movies. For gods sake, I'll pay for your damn babysitter if you'll just keep the squalling brat out of my movie theater so I can enjoy the damn movie. I don't bring my young children to annoy you...do that same.
• People who insist on bringing their squallying children to fine dining establishments and let then (1) yell, (2) cry, (3) run about like hooligans, and the best (4) "If you don't stop that we are leaving"...yet you NEVER DO.
• Street racers (I'd say 'di_ in a fir_' but I've been moderated today for that already, so I won't say it)
• Mondays (just because)
• Sarbanes Oxley (if you know what it is you'll understand why)
