Vacationing in Germany...suggestions?
Anyone have some suggestions where to go? I don't want to see the normal Everyman tourist attractions. I'd much rather skip the popular sites and see things that no many tourists see or even know about.
This is what I know: 1. Germany has some good museums 2. here and there in the country (rural) there are ruins (as far as I know, usually 10th-15th cent. churches and such) just there, attracting only a few people 3. There are fantastic (read: not tourist attraction) sites in Germany, but I can't remember what they are. any suggestions? |

pack up your civic and hit the Autobahn.
I have only been to Germany once, and it was at Berlin. From what I saw of the country while flying over head I want to go back to visit. I am plannning on my euro trip this summer so I will be trying to get back to Germany. Take me with you? |
