It's probably been posted here before and I just haven't seen it, but anyway...I present you:
the H-Wing Carfighter.
The geekly resonance this has with me is staggering. I've always had a "thing" for spaceships (especially space
fighters), and of course like any self-respecting geek I like Star Wars. So I often idly think of my cars as spacecraft. My Si took the analogy a step further by adding some more futuristic design cues, and at least one automag reviewer has noted the almost Millenium Falcon-esque view through the windshield with those odd front pillars. I almost instantly decided that my car is best classified as an
A-Wing (small, fast, nimble), which by happy coincidence is my favorite fighter from film and
game.
Even so, it never occurred to me to try to build one of the damn things. I suppose I should be grateful it didn't--how the heck could I afford it?--but even so, I bleed envy.
