Trap Shooting

Hey i was just wondering how many 8thgen members have ever or ever shot trap, sporting clays, or skeet. I personally come from a sporting clays background where i've shot for about 5 years. I've placed 3rd in the nation, 4 time all-american, and right now i'm shooting for kansas state university.

P.S. I'm not bragging I was just giving my history in the sport.

It's been years since I've done it, but I've been talking to some guys at work on buying a gun and getting back into it.

My buddy and his dad used to go alot so I tagged along a few times. Lots of fun, except for the night before where me and my buddy would stay up "making" the shotguns shells. Not sure what its called but they had a machine that we would put the powder, shot and the copper cap onto the shell and close it up. This was more than 5 years ago.

I've never shot true international trap, i've shot like modified. Which is a combination of the two.

I shot trap at a resort, it was a 12 gauge WTH. My shoulder hurt like a B(**( but it was fun. Dont give me crap about holding a rifle, the pain comes from a 12 gauge double barrel with no recoil pad. When i get older i want to do some target shooting i may start with .22LR any target shooters here?

A tiny bit of trap (meh) and sporting clays (too far for me to travel to), but mainly I do skeet.

Got a perfect score...once.

So...yeah! I'll put my mad single-12-ga-standard-stations skeet skillz up against your national podium finishes any day!

I'm near the KC area now. Grew up in NE Kansas and attended KSU for five years. Live it up man, best time of your life, seriously!!! Support that b-ball team, they are so much better this year. Went to the Baylor game last night, what a comeback!
