Any Law Enforcement people?

So i have been thinking about what i wanna do after high school..It used to be an Engineer, but thats never going to happen..then i thought about being a cop, (grandpa was one and always played around with his old gear) and i loved it..but my parents don't want me to be a cop, but if i'm going to be one atleast be something higher..so i was thinking about the FBI..yes the FBI..Now i was wondring what are the requreiments to get into the Academy? do i need to go to a 4 year school? Iv been looking around on google and found nothing..

So if anyone knows anything please help me out :)

SPECIAL AGENT QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

You must be at least 23 years of age, but younger than 37 upon your appointment as a Special Agent. You must possess a four-year degree from a college or university accredited by one of the regional or national institutional associations recognized by the United States Secretary of Education. You must have at least three years of professional work experience.

That you had to be a Cop befor you can transfer to the FBI?

The son of a friend of my wife's was just recruited right out of college with only his 4 year degree in Finance. You might find in some instances its less about law enforcement experience and more about corporate/business crimes depending on how you want to go.
