It's been 2 months... :(

So my 06 Civic Si was rear-ended early December by a SUV...
Trunk + bumper + left tail light + left rear fender = $9k damage
It's been in the shop now for 1 week and 2 months...
I've been stuck driving a KIA Rio rental car...

God I miss my car......

Bad Pics:

Sorry about your whip and that sucks they put you in the Rio, but you should totally take that approach with your taillights when you get it back. It looks surprisingly good.

Sorry that happened. I hope it gets fixed soon.

It is an awkward time to mention it but I'm with Skittles. The cleared taillights do look surprisingly good. Red and orange bulbs anyone? I wonder if you can even find a clear housing...

It shouldn't take that long, but at least you got a rental in the mean time. But it sucks they put you in a Rio, my girlfriend has an 02 EX and when she took her car in for some warranty work they sent her to get a rental, and she got an 06 LX as a rental!

Thanks everyone for your condolences...

All oem parts paint and labor... I think it $8.7k sounds about right. Anyways yeah the "other" party's ins. is paying for it all.

I would have loved to get a 06 lx for a rental!!!! But then I wouldn't miss my car so much as I do now.

As the old saying goes... You don't miss things until they are gone.

I'm getting use to the KIA now. I'm afraid that I won't know how to drive my Si when I get it back.
