Can't wait for the second half of the premier! I know they were released ahead of time via BT, but I really wanted to wait and watch it in HD.

So, for those that already know what happens tonight, don't ruin it!

first time watching the 2 episodes last night and i liked it...

suspense from the beginning till end. can't wait for the conclusion tonight.

could be picking up the first 5 seasons on dvd.

I watch each season 1 season behind once the DVDs are released year.

That show is too intense to wait a week between each episode.

Same here. I'd never seen it before until last night, but I'm hooked. What was really cool was the entire thing was 2 hours last night, but you were so involved, you really didn't even notice. I actually was disappointed they didn't continue. I've concluded 24 is like good sex....it satisfies you, but it leaves you wanting more at the same time.

Why did Jack have to kill Curtis? That was ridiculous. I love the season so far though.

I did not watch last season. I wanted to wait for the whole set to come out on DVD so I can watch the show thru. Now watching the first four hours of the new season, I'm kinda lost. First, I don't like the casting. They all look so lame. How did Wayne Palmer wind up as president? He can't act like one. The presidents advisors sucks. Especially the whiny wimp and emotional wimpy wife of Buchanan. What does she play anyways? The new CTU players sucks. The interplay with the crew suck to high heaven. Buchanan is the only one left that fits. Without Jack, that whole series will die overnite.

Maybe you should do that before you make those judgments. I'm not saying it'll change your mind, but it develops some of the characters that you're not so fond of.

BigBucks - I didn't get the impression that he "killed" Curtis. I'm sure he just shot to temporarily disable.

Did you notice the part yesterday(or Sunday) where Jack told them Assad wasn't behind the attacks, and everyone bombed the crap out of his house anyway?

i'm insane over 24. my uncle had given my the 1st season on dvd and told me it was an insane show, i never watched it until i got to college last year and everyone watched the 5th season in my dorms. Last season was intense and this weekend was CCRRRRAAAZZZZZZYYYYY!!! actually i thought sunday kinda sucked, but monday more than made up for it, jack is the man. monday's are gonna be heart attack days with prisonbreak coming back too!! now its time for jack bauer to put some foot to a$$ for his country!!

Even though I think the plots and characters are a little thin, the action is riveting. I watched Season 1 and Season 2 when they first aired. Did not watch 3, 4, or 5. Just started watching 6 and I'm hooked again. But again, it's the action and suspense that keeps me coming back. The White House doesn't work that way (watch West Wing), the President calling Jack on his cell phone whenever he wants, and some other things really bug me.

For instance, when Ahmed is holding the kid and the mother hostage and tells the dad to deliver the package. Why doesn't the dad go and get a gun from a family member, neighbor or friend and sneak back into the house and shoot Ahmed? That's what I would have done.

I think jack had no choice other than to kill Curtis. They gave the whole story of how Assad killed Curtis's men by beheading them. Curtis was out for revenge and would have killed Assad had jack not killed Curtis first. I don't think a shot to the head was meant to temporarily disable anyone. You usually shoot someone in the head you want to kill fast Thats just my take on the situation, but i am sure its up for interpretation.
