MPG Calculator!

Since gas price is climbing, I thought you might want to keep track of your MPG.

A new version of MPG Calculator!

Sorry guy, I didn't spend a lot of time on the MPG Calculator. It is my creation. I got bored at work earlier. Here is a new version. You only required to enter the Numbers in RED!
MPG Calculator

I just finished the Mortgage Calculator. If you want to see it, please let me know. Have fun!

PS - the calculation for driven cost $/day at the end is wrong...the calculation should be (Miles driven per day) / (MPG) [to find your gallons used per day]...and then multiply by cost per gallon

But ya...handy!

Too complicated. I have a calculator in the glove box. After each fill up, I enter the trip (A or B) and divide by the amount of fuel dispensed = MPG.
Then I reset the trip meter. PS. I always stop filling the tank when the fuel nozzle clicks off. If you try to keep pumping after that, you stand a chance of ruining the evaporative system for the tank. Also, I have the Nav which will calculate your MPG (you still have to punch in the numbers).

Really, could you explain the theory of this? It is something I have never heard before.

The MPG Calculator is not something I use every time I fill up the gas tank. It is something I use once in a while to keep myself in check. I would not go as far as keeping the calculator in the car to calculate MPG.

Yes, I removed the pump after every click. There is no reason for me to overflow the tank.
