15 Year Old Kid Outruns Police in BMW

Don't know if this has been posted before but check it out:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNd0_ctaOSk

Supposedly FOX made it look like they caught the kid but as quoted from digg: "For the record, this guy actually GOT AWAY. This was a big issue a few years ago because FOX edited it to make it look like they didn't get away. They actually arrested him a few days later at his home. Note how the "breakdown" footage at 3:42 is exactly the same as when he tries to stop at 2:09?

The BMW got away. BMW FTMFW."

Makes me wonder if our SI's can achieve this type of handling at those speeds, though I'm not crazy enough to try it.

Yeah, I've seen that one.
Though I don't think I'd trust American muscle to hang on the Autobahn with cars that were designed with sustaining 100+mph speeds in mind.

But the really sad thing is, why even buy a Mustang in America and ship it to Germany. It seems Ford likes to sell most of their cool cars overseas anyway. That's how they work. I'm surprised the current Mustang is still around. Maybe they'll screw up the next generation. We all know where the SVT focus went.
"Oh no! We made a fairly cool sporty car that is getting rave reviews. What will we do!?"
"Kill it after its first year."
"Oh yeah!"

Bring us the Cosworth, Ford. What's the excuse? Don't tell me it's because they don't think they'd sell. Not that I'd buy one.

If you noticed in the commercial, all the cars it was suppose to outgun had their blinkers on turning off the Autobahn.
