Girlfriend and New Years (HHHHEEEELLLPPPPPPPP)

So I have been with my girlfriend for almost 4 months and she has been awesome. But lately she has been getting pissy when she brings up new years. She gets mad at me when I suggest what we should do, like go out to somewhere that is have a new years party. She just gets in this bad mood. Then like 5 minutes later she will bitch about how I couldn't have planned something for new years. I'm like wtf I just gave you an idea. She then rants and raves about how even if all I do is cook something and bring a bottle of champagne over would be good. I am like ok we can do that. Then she just bitches and says that would suck. WTF!!! I HATE THIS SHIT! I got pissed at her once because I am in the Navy and missed my birthday, thanksgiving and christmas with my family this year. I told her two months ago I was going home for new years. And what does she do? She gets pissed off saying I'm being selfish and I should spend it with her. HOW THE **** AM I BEING SELFISH. I just want one ******* holiday with my family. Anyways what should I do? Should I tell her she is being selfish and go to Dallas anyways? Should I just stay here for new years? If I do give me Ideas. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she is not your wife. you can do as you please. if she doesnt like it then let her do what she wants. family is more important than some selfish ......

well. she is not supposed to be acting like that man, "girl grow up" you are not being selfish, obviously she is, their are more times to come to spend time each other, Girlfriend is always there man but parents and older families they wont be there forever for you, if you know what i am sayin, she should understand or both you spend time with your family then make plans after you know. i know family and girlfriend are important to you but in a relationship you should give and take especially when it comes to family, Fck man i love my family if you love me please understand my ass!!

With this kind of personality, this girl will haunt you for the rest of your life unless you can reason and put her mind into an understandable state of position. I think she is still immature about her presence. All you got to do is be fair and equal without the stress.

4 months is not long enuff for her to be saying anybody's being selfish, especially when its actually her who is being selfish. If you guys aren't in Love, then go see your fam by urself, if you guys are in Love, she should be 100+% willing to go with you to see your fam. She jus doesnt know what she wants! if she has a lot of "girl-friends" then they are the ones mixing her up (if shes not normally like that).
