Ever seen a 600hp FWD car? No. I have. :) It was fun. 600hp FWD > 300hp AWD > 300hp RWD anyday for me.

The Z is a much better car with a ton more HP.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that if I don't get a turbo in this thing soon (All Jap is the place, but that's another story) it's going up for sale or into a wall.

I applaud anyone who gets another car with added HP, we should have from the get-go from Honda.
Thats my opinion. i have more fun driving the si then i did the Z. Just because the Z is more powerful doesnt mean its a better car to drive. I never said the si is a better car then the Z, i just enjoy driving the si more. In life people are gonna always have different views then others. Just because someone thinks different then you doesnt mean they smoking crak. Idiot!

Thats scary 600 HP FWD? i would be happy enough with 230HP+ in FWD. ^ The SI and Z are two different cars in two different catagories,so comparing a Z to an SI is just plain stupid. People need to stop defending the SI so much on these forums. The SI is NOT THE GREATEST CAR IN THE WORLD! SO GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD! the SRT-4 is not,the MS3 is not,the Cobalt SS is not,SVT Focus is not,Senra SE-R is not,VW GTI is not,Mini Cooper S is not!

after driving a SRT4 with almost 500 to the wheels, id have to agree, tons of FWD power IS fun.

Still not gonna touch that SRT10 with a 40 foot pole though

lol...I'm kidding man! Just playing devil's advocate.

On as serious note, I just think this car's power output is severly disappointing, that's all...always have. And there are reason's not financial why I haven't turbo'd the Si...

The DC2 Type-R is the greatest FWD vehicle in the world. And I'm not saying that. Go through any magazine comparison, any article, and just about anyone who's driven most of its competition. Excuse my bluntness, but anyone who thinks power is king is a ******* moron. I liked the SRT-4, I like the Si, I liked the Cobalt SS/SC, I liked the GTI. None of them are perfect. And none of them have as much horsepower as the MS3. But with exception to the SRT-4 (never took it around the track), I know for me they were all more fun to drive than the MS3. Perhaps I was disappointed by all the hype. Perhaps I like my Si more than I think. My 97 Civic HX had like 105hp and was probably more fun to drive than any of the other cars I've mentioned, just BECAUSE it had no power.

Good post. thats what i was trying to say earlier about power not being everything. I have driven Evos, sti's, 350Z's and all are great and quick cars but TO ME i had more fun driving my buddys EM1 before i bought my Si. I think each car out there fits in a certain need and want. If you want something thats high reving and fun to drive i think the si is a great car for you. If you want something thats quick then evos, Z's and Sti's are for you. I just think that sometimes people just look at the numbers and whoever has the highest numbers in performance then they think its a better car.

Power IS everything when you have something that has none. This car is slow and it seriously bothers me. I live in a state that is totally flat, so handling is worthless and power is all you got. You guys are in Vermont and I don't know where else, and you actually have turns. We don't. Period. So to alleviate this lack of driving excitement, we need power.

Listen, I've been riding street bikes for 14 years now, and in California, I loved 600's. They WERE great in areas that had turns. I moved back to Florida and HAD to get a 1000. The same is applying to my current vehicle situation. I need the power that you guys may not be able to use. So in a a straight line, this Si is slow and needs more power.

A muscle car would fit you well then if you want something for a straight line.

That's why mustangs were hugely popular when I was growing up. Fits the area. Had a 2002 GT myself.

Someday my power will come...lol!
