Ever seen a 600hp FWD car? No. I have. :) It was fun. 600hp FWD > 300hp AWD > 300hp RWD anyday for me. |

Thats scary 600 HP FWD? i would be happy enough with 230HP+ in FWD. ^ The SI and Z are two different cars in two different catagories,so comparing a Z to an SI is just plain stupid. People need to stop defending the SI so much on these forums. The SI is NOT THE GREATEST CAR IN THE WORLD! SO GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD! the SRT-4 is not,the MS3 is not,the Cobalt SS is not,SVT Focus is not,Senra SE-R is not,VW GTI is not,Mini Cooper S is not!

The DC2 Type-R is the greatest FWD vehicle in the world. And I'm not saying that. Go through any magazine comparison, any article, and just about anyone who's driven most of its competition. Excuse my bluntness, but anyone who thinks power is king is a ******* moron. I liked the SRT-4, I like the Si, I liked the Cobalt SS/SC, I liked the GTI. None of them are perfect. And none of them have as much horsepower as the MS3. But with exception to the SRT-4 (never took it around the track), I know for me they were all more fun to drive than the MS3. Perhaps I was disappointed by all the hype. Perhaps I like my Si more than I think. My 97 Civic HX had like 105hp and was probably more fun to drive than any of the other cars I've mentioned, just BECAUSE it had no power. |

Power IS everything when you have something that has none. This car is slow and it seriously bothers me. I live in a state that is totally flat, so handling is worthless and power is all you got. You guys are in Vermont and I don't know where else, and you actually have turns. We don't. Period. So to alleviate this lack of driving excitement, we need power.
Listen, I've been riding street bikes for 14 years now, and in California, I loved 600's. They WERE great in areas that had turns. I moved back to Florida and HAD to get a 1000. The same is applying to my current vehicle situation. I need the power that you guys may not be able to use. So in a a straight line, this Si is slow and needs more power. |
