Dog Hair Removal From Si Seats

My girlfriend has a Huskie that sheds like crazy. Every time she gets into my 06 Si she gets white/gray dog hair all over my black seats. It really sucks because the hairs weave themselves into the fabric making them very difficult to remove. Anyone have any tips for me besides dumping my girl?

dog hair does suck. short of putting a cover on your seat when she rides with you - you can obviously use a high suction vac. Usually vacs at car wash areas are pretty decent. If you don't feel like doing this all the time, there are other options. Something that sound pretty ghetto but works pretty well is duct tape. Get like 8-12 inches or so of duct tape - and join the two ends making a circle. Put your hand into that area and slide your hand around your seat rolling to new areas of duct tape. The sticky tape is pretty good at pulling out stuck hair. If the tape gets dull - rip off some more and repeat. That way you can keep the lady.

I've tried vacuum, tape, & those adhesive roller things with some success. I haven't tried Duct tape yet but I'm worried about it leaving residue. I think I'll just use this as an excuse to put in leather like I did here...

We have cats and a dog. What works really well on our sofa is an attachment I got for my vacuum years ago. It is basically a small version of your vacuum with a rotating brush. The brush is powered by the suction which turns a small belt that rotates the brush. Pulls the hair right up. It's called a turbo brush.

Works great on stairs also :)

You could purchase a small air compressor and blow all the hair off before she gets in.

Some friends of mine had a saint bernard. She actually collected all the hair that she brushed off the dog and spun it into yarn and made a sweater out of it.

No. Wish I did. Traded it for an 05 X-Runner which I traded for the Si.
