Question 7th gen and prior Si forums

Ever been to older model Civic/Si sites and noticed the resentment most there have for the 8th gen?

I was a member of a few nameless sites and finally stopped visiting because of the hatred/jealousy most have for the new civics.

I don't know if it's because they feel that the new generation is in a different class and are intimidated or if they just feel that the 8th gen is attracting a different type of driver.

I must admit that this forum is the most mature civic related board that I have ever visited.

What's your opinion on the views of the 7th gen and older crowd towards the 8th gen?

I have noticed as the price of a vehicle goes up the age of the owner does also. This is not true in all cases but maybe has something to do with the maturity of this site?

Why can't we all just get along and show love for our fellow Civic owners?

I wonder if anyone has a progression chart of the price of these vehicles over the years to show the price increase?

The American Honda Motor Company said today that prices would rise an average of $252 on Honda and $415 on Acura cars effective Sunday.

The Japan-based auto maker said fluctuations in the yen-dollar rate and increased selling costs were the reasons for the increase.

The Honda division includes the Civic, Prelude and Accord, which was the best-selling car in America last year for the third straight year.

Honda prices will start at $8,100 for the Civic CX Hatchback and range to $22,620 for the Prelude Si with a four-wheel steering option and automatic transmission. The average increase is 1.7 percent.

Acura Division prices for Integra, Vigor, Legend and NSX automobiles will rise an estimated 1.8 percent, ranging from $12,580 for the Integra three-door RS with a five-speed manual transmission, to $69,000 for the NSX with automatic transmission.

clusi and h-t are for haters. The best online community I have ever scene is ephatch. The owner tried again with fgcoupe, but it has already lost the race to this site. The thing is, the larger the production numbers, the worse the site (IMO) hence clubsi and clubrsx not being all that good. However, clubrsx is excellent in the technical section... I hope this site preserves that feel
