So what did all the PS3 re-sellers end up getting on this site?

I'm just curious as I remember there being a few threads about people camping out and setting up their battle plan to score a PS3 (or more than one) to turn around and sell on ebay. I know the prices are no longer around $2,000 per system as they were before launch.

So those that scored a system: Did you sell it on ebay? If so for how much? Did you get more than one?

Like I said I'm just curious as I've yet to hear what the results were for everyone who was trying to get one. I was able to get 3 systems, but haven't sold them off yet (maybe sooner or later). I concentrated most of my efforts on the Wii since I figured it would be more readily available, yet still difficult to find. So far I've been selling those for an average of $450ish (although someone did win one for $340).

And before anyone bashes me about reselling stuff on ebay for a profit... I start all my auctions at .99 cents. I let everyone else do the rest.

No judgement here: if people are dumb enough to spend that much money on stuff, than you are more than okay to take it from them.

The thing is, most mothers weren't waiting in a line for a PS3. That argument is a little tired. Most parents would never stand in line for a Christmas present, even if it was at the top of the list; most parents dont have that kind of time. Most of the PS3 campers were fanboys or resellers, and as a result, c'est la vie.

My friend bought three (got two friends to stand in line) and sold them the day after he got them on eBay, and ended up making close to 4-5k profit; lucky.

The prices apparently have dropped slightly, but I wouldn't expect them to go much lower, what with Christmas being around the corner.

on ebay i just checked it out ps3's selling for more than 1000 dollars arent getting any bids i guess everyone who really wanted one already got one.

I got 1200

That paid off the PS3, my Wii, and the rest went towards an H-brace, some other brace that looks cool, and about four bottles of Jack Daniels.

sold mine for 1200 also, can't complain, 100% profit. It also paid off my wii.
