Idon't agree with this......IMO it is entrapment. That guy would have not raced if there was no opportunity.......it is the same way with undercover prostitutes.

So far I've raced a mustang undercover, luckily didn't get pulled over...I watched a guy get pulled over in an unmarked white camaro...and I (in my civic) was driving fast with a bmw...I took a right, and behind me flew a cop in an 89 accord, with a massive aluminum spoiler, unpainted chipped body kit, and rainbow speckle tint...and pulled over the bmw...
THAT's undercover!
I don't really race to begin with (slow civic)...but now I DEFINITELY don't...I'm too paranoid...tooo paranoid...

We had one of our PD's to try to use a teg Type R a year ago, but being that its a relatively small town, needless to say, after the first bust, everyone caught on. "Oh sh*t! It's the teg! Don't do anything stupid!"

Plus the type R's are yellow, and i thought the point behind being "unmarked" was to fly low?

/\/\ Yeah, and the 2 people involved in the bust got off on the charges because the officer wasn't in uniform. So it was a COMPLETE waste on the PD's part.

he was really undercover then

maybe he just wanted to race while he was off duty, lost the race and charged them?
