The Rolling Stones may be old but they still got it.

WOW....I was lucky enough to score a couple tickets to the Rolling Stones show last night. I know your thinking they have a combined age of 240 somthing and the show they put on at Superbowl halftime was pretty bad, but seeing them live in concert was totally diffrent!
My seats were center arena in the stands about 10 rows up, but they had a sliding stage on rails that moved out right in front of us for two sets, about 40 feet and I got some really good pics.

They started out with a few new songs from their Bigger Bang album that I'd never heard, but I like that Driving too fast song, then they went back.
start me up, Angie, Brown Sugar, Honky Tonk Women, satisfaction, jumpin jack flash about 20 songs total. They still totally rock out to be seniors.
They have a new album out. Check it out, click on the audio links. "Driving Too fast". Anyone else like it?
http://www.rollingstones.com/discog/?view=album&id=155#

I'll put up a link to my album of pics in a few.

Your welcome 2fast.
It was AWESOME! I figured they didn't have it in them anymore being so old and after seeing the halftime show, but they showed me. The Rolling Stones still kick ass.

+1 for another awesome old thread!!

I saw them at the Astrodome in Houston, Tx. in 1994 (Voodoo Lounge Tour) ... their live shows are top notch. I love going to concerts!!!

Thanks for the link to your pics

Yeah, went to VooDoo Lounge tour also! It was at the GA dome so the sound wasn't near as great as it was being in the arena and them being 10 years older.
I'd have to say the Bigger Bang tour ranks up there as one of the greatest concerts I've ever seen. Like up there with Pink Floyd, The Dead, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, Van Halen, Eagles, ect.
Thanks for bringing back the good memory sbigshot!

Sure no prob.... I have a ton of classic shows under my belt as well lol

When you saw The Stones on the VL Tour ... did Bryan Adams open??

I have seen the Eagles twice ... the reunion show in 1994 was awesome ... the shows the last few years weren't as good .... pi**ed me off when they fired Don Felder. I've seen VH twice 1986 & 1995 ... Aero once 98 I think. :)

I could have gone to see Pink Floyd at Rice Stadium in Houston in 94 but I had just been there to see The Eagles a few weeks before and funds were limited back then .... I have regretted that decision for years (since they have never toured again)

That's awesome we have the same taste in concerts and seen some of the same shows. Yes, Bryan Adams opened for the VL tour. That was the most awefullest crap I've ever heard in my life!

A buddy and I got in line for Pink Floyd tickets at 3 in the morning. We sat 3rd row, incredible!

I have a bootleg DVD of the 3 or 4 songs they did with Roger Waters for Live 8 ..... was hoping that performance would spur a tour but no such luck.
