Friends of mine went down to NC for NASCAR a few weeks ago. None of us have ever been to a NASCAR race so they filmed what it looks like at head level. Damn, that is fast

have you ever been to a top fuel drag? IMO its even crazier!! you can feel the motors hella far away

I think they avg around 189mph at Charlotte Motor Speedway. You gotta go at least 1 time, its an experience!

they do around 175-180 around Kansas Speedway and it's one of the fastest tracks supposedly. Watching Indy race there was pretty cool. 190+. They could do 225 here but they were getting sick from the G forces it was creating. There were reports of the drivers blacking out some.

I've been a couple times. It gets boring after a while and when you're that close in the cheap seats, it's super loud.

I would like to go see the Bristol night race sometime. They are going slower but the sensation of speed is much greater because they are making 16 second laps on a track that is just over a half-mile.

Go to MIS in Brooklyn, MI and watch an IRL race. I've going for years. The Champ cars used to go around the track and about 230mph. Now the IRL cars go about 218mph. Great speeds and alot of passing!!!!!! Always seems to be a good race.

I used to work for a NASCAR team and believe me, watching the races might be boring to most but being down there in the pits is very exciting. I also got to do the Petty Experiecne where you get to drive the cars, did about 150 and when you come up on a bank in the turns it looks like you are going to hit a wall.
