No idea about the authenticity of the video, but yes, Milkman's doing a bit of roleplaying here.

Now, I might DISAGREE with his portrayal, but that's not really relevant to the question at hand: What to do with Mr. "Paid", assuming he's genuine? Death? Hardly. Prison (and humiliation for being such a nitwit as to film this?) Hell yes. Efforts at "reforming" him in prison? Sure. Just excuse my utter lack of surprise when he winds up back in jail a year after release.

The link's all over the web. Try Jalopnik.com's archives, it's an auto news blog, they posted it a month or two back, as one of their "Hoon of the Day" items, iirc.

The short version: It's a somewhat stylized video of a guy doing smash 'n grab theft of items in many cars in a parking lot somewhere. May or may not have been "genuine", but a pretty major effort to fake, if indeed fake (i.e., parking a bunch of pre-arranged cars in the lot and having the funds to cover repairs, all for a web video? Unless it was filmed for something else.)
