Tookie's in Houston. They have a burger called "The Squealer". The bacon is actually crumbled up inside the burger! They also have a good chili burger too.

Up here in Columbus, Red Robin or Fuddrucker's is my vote.

I think I'm going to go to RedRobin for dinner tonight. I'm having a seriously hard time staying away from that place. Plus, I gotta try a new burger.

While Red robin is good in my opinion in my area, we have been having lots of problems with the service there. Whenever we go there for lunch in a decent size group, they always screw up an order or two. The best burgers in our area though are 5 guys and Aussie Burger.

I'm a self-proclaimed burger nut.

1. Ruby Tuesdays Triple Prime Burger
2. Fudruckers Southwest Burger
3. Sonic Island Fire Burger (discontinued )
3. Hardees 1/2 lb Grilled Sourdough Burger

In north Tx.. Tommy's wins hands down. I keep hearing that Kincaids(sp?) is just as good, but I just can't cheat on tommy's like that. Just a good, big ass, greasy burger. love it.

I ran my own burger joint with a friend of mine a few summers ago. We invented a burger of our own after one night of partying. The name is the "regret burger", 2 patties, 2 chicken strips, the works, and either honey mustard or sweet n' sour sauce. For whatever reason (luck) it was the best burger we ever had! It wasn't as if we were amazing burger chefs, just some average people that accidentaly created the best burger in the world.

We've tried to re-create it on a different grill and it just wasn't the same. So sorry to everyone who wanted to have it, you could TRY though!!

Ha! As soon as I saw this thread "Red Robin" came to mind immediately.

When we lived in MI my wife and I used to go to them all the time. Then we moved back to NY and no Red Robin for like 3 years until earlier this year when one finally opened up.

We tell everyone about it. Bottomless fries and free refills on the freckled lemonade FTW!

Fuddruckers was ok, good on size but just ok on taste.

Ruby Tuesday triple prime burger was a big dissapointment.

I still have to try an In-N-Out burger. I've heard good things.

Cheeburger Cheeburger just opened up here last month, maybe I'll check them out this weekend.

FUDRUCKERS. There are Car 'shows' in that parking lot there every Monday, until last week Cops rushed the parking lot and quickly thereafter surrounded the whole place. Kinda like what happened in 2F2F (Garage scene) only... we didn't get a chance to run and look cool.

It's all about the local non-chain burger joint for me.

Darla's Restaurant for the win. Touted as "Possibly the Best Burger Around". I agree.
