my fg1 has been towed away =(

*car is back, updates on insurance and car on page 4*

this is such a long story so i'm gonna sum it all up and make u guys think i'm stupid.

4 cars in group.
dc5 = 5 ppl
itr = 1
gsr = 5 ppl
and my fg1 = 4 ppl

ok so every1 basically got drunk and every1 else was confident on driving home but mr itr. (of course we can't let him drive home) i asked my friend if he was good to drive my car. didn't seem drunk. maybe a bit tipsy. he said yea he's good to drive. ok so i trusted him. ok here where it gets complicated

dc5 gsx leaves. i told my friend to follow me. i couldn't find the keys to the itr. my friend all of a sudden just leaves. WTF i call him, no responce.... ok now i gotta find the faqing keys. owner of the car SWORE that he didn't have the keys. told me to call every1. so i faqin did. i then got a hold of my friend and told them to turn around. all of a sudden they hung up on me.

then i had to search for the keys. guess where the keys where. between his damn legs.. ok so then i start up the engine. the alarm goes off. "dude shut this shit off". he's all tellin me to call our friends because they have the "immoblizer" to the car. dude its ur ******* car turn this shit off. took about 5 mins to get him to turn if off.

ok so where are my friends that i told them to turn around? i start leaving and calling them a few times. later he picked up about my 4th try. "dude he crashed ur car". me, "dude stop ******* with me" him, i'm ******* serious man." (as i hear an officer ask for registration and licence)

came to the accident.
my car : driver side damage, side curtin deployed.
gsx : passanger front right hella damaged, both front airbags deployed.

ok u guys try to figure how this shit happened. they were going the same direction.

ok well my friend busted a u right when i told him too without even lookin. gsx was in his blind spot. bam...

both cars towed away. now at shop and insurance figuring it out.

and to top off the sundae. my rental car is my most hated car... P f'in T crusier

Crappy deal man.

That's the reason why I just don't like driving other people's cars, especially when they belong to my friends. I really don't want to be in a situation where a friend crashes my car or vice versa. The only exception was when my friend was driving back from Toronto and he said he really needed me to fill in for him at the 2 hour mark (2 more hours to go). I was the only other driver who knew how to drive stick, so I did it.

Hope things get sorted out man.

hay-ya... irresponsible driking + driving = FTL.

i'm aint gonna preach at you coz i know that you realize your mistakes (you + your friends). instead, i'm gonna say that i'm glad no one was hurt and no one was hauled off to jail.

best of luck with the repairs. pics would help too.

You've learned your lesson. Don't find yourself in this situation ever again.

guys... you weren't there and you can't judge the stupidity of an action without full details..

if the guy had a couple of beers then it's no big.. even a shot or two shouldn't get him drunk enough to really effect his driving.

that sux man, i'm sorry dude.. so how does insurance work out when you're not the one driving the car? i've always wondered about that

I wish there was something that I could say. But for once, I have too many and too little opinions regarding the entire situation.

in hind sight, maybe you should have driven your own car, and let your friend drive the intoxicated friends car.
