Damn man.. super old threadfromthedead.
I've always been afraid of ticks. Hell, just the other night I had a nightmare about ticks crawling on me and woke up trying to scream. I'm scared to freakin death of ticks

What scared the crap out of me as a child was my fathers house, I am sooo sure it is hauted it isnt funny. Mainly it is the stairs that freak me out, there are 11 stairs, the third one is always cold, 2nd stair warm 4th stair warm...
3rd one cold. My feelings is someone hung themselves on the stair #3 I would run as fast as I could to get up them, father yelling at me to stop runnning up the stairs every time. I told him it felt like someone was chasing me up them.... Fast forward 15 years, I finally deceided it was time to visit my home town again after being gone for so long, figured since I could stay at my fathers so I did.Totally forgetting about the house being hauted and those scarey stairs. So I bring my packs upstairs and I got the same dam feeling, like someone was chasing me. I started to run, and then of corse I bailed on my face with two heavy back packs attached to me, and again my father yelling at me to stop running @ the age of 31..still getting yelled at like I was 6 years old...lol Till this day, I have been home a few times since then and have stayed at my fathers everytime and every time I go up the stairs I still get the same feeling. My father thinks I am crazy but oh well. |

Definitely that Bloody Mary shit.. ya know, where you go into the bathroom w/ the lights off and close the door, spin around a a few times and say something and she appears in the mirror. To top it off, my older brothers would leave my door open and the bathroom door open just so I'd be staring at the bathroom mirror the entire not.. had be shitting bricks until I was like 8 years old

Poltergeist, specially the maggoty meat scene and the dude pulling his face off.
God and sinning- Hey! I was raised Roman Catholic. CCD, church, the whole deal. As a little kid I was scared sh*tless of sinning and having to face God. Parrots and spiders. Both bite and both are inherently evil.

I have a few but the one that scared me the most is when I in 4th grade I was at my aunts house after school and was out in the woods and I must have put my foot over the entrance to a yellow jacket nest. I was covered with them and before I thought about it I slapped my arm and the stinging began. I was stung about 100 times. I almost died but my aunt knew what to put on the stings to take the venom out. Thank god. I can't be near a bee or anything with out getting scared of being stung.

the movie Pet Sematary and Candyman. I was in South GA when I saw PS at Grandma's and I was just freaked out by some of the things in that movie...i was 8 or 9 at the time. And Candyman...I was sleeping at a friends house and his little sister was watching it...and I was in a daze-sleep. All I could hear was Candyman x3...I looked up from my daze and was scared to death.

When I was 7, my friends and I were climbing around on an old abandoned farm house. While we were on the roof, one of the slate shingles broke free under my foot, and I started sliding slowly off the roof. There was nothing I could do to stop it. Eventually I slid to the edge, then over. I fell from two stories to the ground. I remember waking up on the ground with my friends standing over me. I smashed my face, which was swollen for weeks, and had a black eye for months. No broken bones.
Other than that I'm fine. Other than that I'm fine. Other than that I'm fine. lol |
