I'm scared of suspended heights. Anything like standing on a ledge (w/ no railing) kinda freaks me out. When I was younger my dad and I would go on hikes. We walked a rail line for a long time one day and came to a rail bridge similar but not as high to the one in the movie "Stand By Me" and I quickly realized there was no way I was crossing it. I hate crappy, creaky old ferris wheels too, especially the one in Wildwood NJ.

I've started to tackle the fear by quarry jumping (dumb but amazing). Standing on the edge of a quarry looking 75 ft down is really scary. Jumping from that height into the water helped my cause a but. And I skydived last year from 13000 ft. I wasn't nearly as scared skydiving because there was no real ledge to speak of. looking out a plane door at a bed of clouds is different than looking down on jagged rocks/water, or an amusement part where you can see individual people and goings on.

still though, I don't voluntarily climb high on ladders. it's not my thing.

Scott.....OMG........I thought I was the only one ever frightened by those dastardly flying monkeys! They were pure evil! Horror movies in general never bothered me but an Academy Awarding winning musical scared the bejesus out me! Great, now I'm not going to able to sleep tonight thinking those monkeys are going to land on my window ledge and whisk me away. Thanks Scott.

I'm in for the flying monkeys... damn... the munchkins scared me too with their creepy little voices....... I still won't watch the Wizard of Oz on TV even. I see no purpose in it.

And all those Burger King commercials with that stiff king creep me out. Especially the one where he just appears that Fixer mentioned.

^^^^ SORRY TO SAY THIS.... sponsored links, there is a link for Honda Civic V Tech. "find a huge choice of V-Tech products and save up to 75%.." www.best-price.com/v-tech lmao. even a Honda site has vtec spelled wrong. WEBBY beware!

Anywho, back on topic, my g/f is still scared of the dark. Must have a large lit lava lamp in our room. I'm also scared of bees. TODAY.

For me it was the movie Childs Play. When I first saw that movie I had no idea that a living doll was even something that anyone would think about. My older cousins would sneak into my room at night and put one of those good guy dolls at the end of my bed (or sitting up in my room) with a hammer or something in its hand and I would scream like a topless girl in a bad horror movie.

Scared the f*** out of me

Cameron already posted his life and death situation when he was a child in another thread so.... anyone else??
that is f*in hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

definitely spiders...still is my biggest fear. If I see one on my wall in my room before I go to bed, I have to kill it and MAKE SURE IT REALLY IS DEAD before I can go to sleep. Otherwise I'll sleep somewhere else.

I can't say that I'm afraid of clowns, I just hate them with a passion. I don't understand why clowns are supposed to make me smile when they just get on my damn nerves.

That's why I refuse to go to the circus. When I get around things that annoy me non-stop I have a tendency to be very "outspoken."
