Fire in Chicago

Yeah, so I left class to go home, and I smelled smoke on the elevator. This guy asked me if I heard about the fire. I went outside and looked to my right and woah. Fire. The surrounding area was blocked off and full of firetrucks. I took the train home, looking back, there is a huge ammount of smoke pouring out of downtown. Kinda crazy.
I smell like smoke now, whew...

Just saw it on the news briefly, looks like the building will be going down. Fortunately it was unoccupied, I just hope no firefighters get hurt.

Just had classes cancelled for most of our buildings, though many aren't near the affected one.

Tomorrow I have class right across the street, I guess I'll see what it looks like.

I know what you mean. I go home smelling like fire everyday. I do fire and water damage restoration for a company here in Columbus. Sometimes I just strip clothes in the garage and go immediately to the shower because I don't want the house to stink.

On the way home from work, they said at least 2 firefighters were injured and in 'yellow status', which is CFD speak for 'serious' condition.
