How does your Civic smell?

Since my Civic is only a little over two weeks old, it still has that new car smell. But I know with winter approaching, it won't take long for the build up of funky odors to begin taking over.

So I was wondering if anyone can recommend any products that can help to maintain a pleasant environment for my passengers. Of course, I also need to present a manly, heterosexual statement to all occupants who ride in my vehicle. Thanks.

I use the Yankee Candle Co. hanging airfreshner. Not so manly but i buy the black one so it blends well! Hanging of the Turn signal lever so only I see it.

^^ Not to sound antagonistic, but is this your opinion, or have other people told you this?

I guess it's my opinion since nobody ever rides in the car with me.

Wait a minute....maybe it does smell and that's why nobody rides with me

S C Johnson makes some oil based air-freshners that attach to the vents, and they even match the interior colors, they are silver and black! They last a REALLY long time, like over a month, since they are oil based and not those 99 cent onces that you buy at Wal-Mart.

I believe that everything has a smell. Maybe sometimes it can be overpowered by another smell. In some cases different people are more sensitive than others.

I figured I would maybe choose a smell that would be pleasant but not overpowering or flowery. However, the last thing I want is for someone to gag from my air freshener.

I don't like using air fresheners...they're too strong smelling when they're new and give off no smell once they're slightly used.

I Febreeze my car every weekend after I finish washing and vacuuming her. Holds the stink back for at least a week.
