I just bought a 6 pack of "new car small" hanging air fresheners. It doesn't exactly smell like new car, but it smells really good and has a manly tone to it.

You mean...heterosexual males use air fresheners in their car?

Who would've thought, heaven forbid :P.

Go buy one of those cheap cologne smell air fresheners or something.

If there is a smell in any of my cars, I usually borrow the ozone machine from work and ozone the interior. We use it to get rid of fire odors, but it gets rid of other odors as well. When it's done, it doesn't smell like anything at all. It dissipates in about 30 seconds.

So I would have to say that of all the cars I've been in , my straight guy friends and *** guy friends all have the nice airfreshner smell in common. The only smell that makes me think "only a man would drive something that could smell like this" is when I smell it is the pungent odor of cigars/ cigarettes, stale beer, motor oil and dirt. A scent that turns my stomach.

"Ozium" is good stuff. It can actually destroy foul bathroom smells in seconds. It's used by hospitals and nursing homes.

It's known as "Glycol-ized Air Sanitizer." You can get it in hospital suppply stores and online. It's sold by Waterbury Companies. Not to be used for direct application on painted or lacquered surfaces is what it says on the spray can. Works way mo' bettah than most so-called "air-fresheners. Another good product is made by "Yankee Candle;" 'Citrus Sage' is the one my Sis likes for knocking out cooking smells.

If you transport Dried Camel Dung in your Civic, then this is the stuff for you!

Sage citrus is a wonderful smell. When I was decorating a buddy's apartment I brought him those candles to keep it smelling nice. He loved it and all the guys and gals that would come over loved it too. Needless to say, it's a great "guy scent"

Keep your interior clean. Vacuum and wash rubber floor mats on a regular basis. Shampoo the carpets and seats every once in a while. Clean up spills, and use an interior detailer for plastic. It shouldn't smell.

Also, don't leave any garbage in the car.

Go to "The Body Shop" and check out their car diffuser.

http://www.thebodyshop.com/bodyshop/...oryId=cat30070

Works like a hot plate and you pour oils onto a pad and it heats it up. You can buy like 20 different type of oils and it's really effective because you can put it on every few days. I've had so many compliments as to why my car smells so good. It smells a bit girly, but the girls love it.

I love the new car smell at first, but then it gets in your brain and it annoyed me for a while. I think I had the new car smell in my car for about 3 months.

I use Yankee Candle car airfreshner in MidSummer's Night....it smells good, and everyone who drives with me thinks so too.
