First day of snow.

Well, today was the first day of snow here. Woke up and saw the top half of my car covered with a foot of snow.

Coincidentally, I put a couple layers of wax this past weekend to prepare for the winter season, within a day of that the white stuff starts falling.

This is what my car looked like a little later on after I got off work.
This is what it will look like for the next 5 months! ....probably worse

Snow is about to hit Ottawa any time now too. It's getting pretty cold, even during the day. I just rust proofed my car today. Going to be ordering a set of winter tires this Friday. Bye bye piggy bank.

We had snow here last week. It rained. Then it sleeted. Then it snowed. Then the sun came back out. It was weird.

-Christmas gifts (i give pricey things too)
-Boxing Day shopping galore
-Winter accessories for the car
-Ski trips to Whistler/Blackcomb and Cypress Bowl (maybe Big White too)
-Heating bill skyrockets (coz u can wear shorts in my house any time of the year, including the dead of winter!)

i wish it can snow without it being cold out haha. but it cant so i cant live with snow at first it was cool but now its just depressing because i dont snowboard or ski or anything

Chicago had our first snow last week. It was actually a record amount of accumulated snow for that day.

a whopping .3 inches, haha.

But it was still strange to see that snow falling this early in the year.

and it's already hitting the low 30's overnight now. I hate cold weather, poooooo

We had a really mild winter in southern Ontario last year as well. I can't remember a single time trudging through the snow. It rained more than it snowed. It was like we were waiting for winter to hit and it never did.
