ouch man. The important thing is you and your buddy are alright. Honda didn't stop making the SI and you can always get another if need be. You on the other hand can't go buy another body.

Sorry to hear about your accident. Hopefully your Si is fixable. Or even better, gets totalled so you can get yourself an '07 Si.

Glad to learn that you and your buddy are all right.

Sorry to hear about your accident. You and your friend are good and the buttmunch that hit you is probably going to be buying you a new SI.

This makes me nervous. Not the Friday the 13th thing, cuz it's just another day. But the number of Civic accidents from what I've seen is unbelievable...

Glad to hear you're ok.

And there is more to come, especially from Si owners. Check out the III and IIHS websites and you'll find that historically if you pair a fast 2 door car with a driver between the ages of 16-24 you will account for 29% of all auto accidents (2004). That's over three times as high as some older drivers. Although for all groups the number 1 avoidable cause of death in a car is speeding. I'm pretty sure that the number is higher in the 16-24 group than any other.

I know that some accidents are hard to avoid, like Si2006's. But I'm willing to bet that a large majority are due to folks taking unnecessary risks too many times.

Or maybe Civics are just accident magnets.

This is the second accident thread I've read today. Glad you're okay dude and although it's been mentioned about a dozen times, just remember there's only one you in this world, but 15,000 Civic FG2s in North America.

I was at a friend's house yesterday and I was like, "Dude, I'm totally not driving till the clock hits 12:01." I'm supersticious and I remember 2 years ago on Friday the 13th, my friend and I were stuck in massive snow for about 1 hour and freezing cold weather. Totally sucked ass.

Sorry to hear about that. Friday the 13th is crazy. My last car got hit parked at a poker game on Friday the 13th like two years ago. Only one person left while I was there so we got a hold of him and isurance took care of everything.

Glad you and your friend are doing ok after that. Last week, one of our customers was t-boned right in the center of the car (they had an 06 Civic LX 4DR) and luckily they walked away from it too (Thanks to the Civics side and side curtain airbags! ). The car was totaled, and they ended up buying a 2007 CR-V EX!
