I'm in my second year of Japanese (at a very intense program, I may add), and I would love to go to JApan someday.

I've worked in Japan for 6 months before and a friend of mine told me that her bicycle had an illegal parking. It turned out to be that the fine was more expensive than her bicycle so she just left her bicycle.

Japan's parking fee is really atronomically high specially in Tokyo area. I was amazed by their parking space technology. Couldn't describe it really good but there's one that goes to a belt conveyor thing and puts it underground or in the building and stacks the car. It just goes to show you how space is premium there.

around 1992 , was the last time I was there and worked at Higashiyama, Meguro Ku. Spikes ... that's a good insurance for payment :-)
