Watching Monday Night Football right now...
Before I get started, let me say I am not racist by any means, so I hope no one gets offended. But I'm watching the crowd in the Superdome and I see maybe 3 black people in the whole stadium. It seems to me once again the people of New Orleans got screwed over. They were more worried about getting the Superdome up and running for a bunch of corporate suits to buy season tickets than rebuild the rest of New Orleans. Of course, they are hyping it up like crazy with a production bigger than the Superbowl, but I don't think that someone who lost their home to a failed levy is sitting there going "this is awesome! I don't have a home, but at least the Saints are back in town! (sarcasm, BTW). I haven't seen Ray Nagin anywhere, but I'm sure he's sitting in some skybox having a glass of wine and salmon patte. Unreal where our priorites are...
