I pay $90.54 a month and that's for my Civic (Lx) and for my bike (2003 Yamaha R6). It used to be $130.20 a month, but when I moved to the town I'm in now it dropped significantly. All this thru state farm. I get multiple discounts for multi-car, no tickets, no claims, as well as my age and location.

When i was around your age [16-18] I was paying around monthly 175-200 for my CRX!! Liability!! God I'm happy I'm 25 now lol. Was quoted at 105 montly for when my Si comes in. I Have Allstate btw. No accidents [non my fault atleast =] no tickets and 1 wreckless driving. Technically, in CT on I-95, anything over 80 they can hit you with wreckless driving if they want. I got caught racing a *cough* undercover cop in an oldschool rx-7.Mooth move huh? lol My girl said if I hadn't beaten him he wouldn't have pulled me over. lol oh well. I don't do that kinda stuff nomore. Wreckless driving and I got no ticket =] I love AR. =] Jus stuck me with a $50 court fee and 1 year probation. Basically , no speeding for a year. I got lucky. I learned my lessen n grew up. Keep it on the track =]

holy sh!t your insurance companys fails

i pay about $1700(us) every 6 months, and i have a terrible driving record..

2 reckless drving, 7 speeding <-- all reduced to driving unsafe vehicles, or broken lights, failure to back up properly?

2 wrecks, 2 claims. and im 20, i dont drive like i used to, but 300+hp made me pretty stupid

BUT, i do get good student, multiple vehicle, family, plus i get a HUGE discount for getting life insur throught my car insur too.

$75 a month for the '06 Civic LX sedan, $70 a month for the '03 MDX, and around $55 for an '00 Mazda Protege - but I work for an insurance company and they skip the commission I'd pay an agent. Not to mention all the other discounts - house, school teacher (wife), no violations 10+ years, etc... Of course when my kid gets his license the Protege is going up to around $140 a month. YICKs! Insurance is betting against yourself - how much of a risk you are determines how much they are going to stick it to ya... $1728 sounds a little high to me for your situation though... Shop around - I was w/ and ultra perferred company and as a test called to get a quote on my rigs, it was cheaper than what they were already charging me! Companies want you business - so look around every time your policy come up for renewal... Good luck!

I pay $54/mo for my '06 LX sedan, $56/mo for my '06 RAV4, and $22/mo for my '99 Sentra SE. This is with 100/300/100 coverage.

My wife told me I can get an '07 MazdaSpeed 3 (like how I said "she told me I can"?) and it will be $66/mo.

Not to belabor this, however, this is probably the 12th thread on exactly this topic.

I pay about $250 a month at 20 with one ticket on my record on my EX. Keep in mind I am on my parents policy and if I were on my own it would be over $500 a month. Yeah, insurance rates in Alaska suck.

I don't pay insurance, haha. Sorry, just had to say that. If i did pay it would probably be close to $1500-$2000 a year. My dad has a really bad driving record, which is why it would kill my insurance also.

Whack, my insurance skyrocketed for some reason.

Let's see...I was paying $255 a month for 6 months. Then our rates went up and so my insurance was $266 a month for 6 months.

Then I moved to my new house and they charged me $178 plus my insurance. Now I'm paying $296.60 a month for the next 6 months.

Freaking A and I'm 20.
