anyone know/live in oregon?
Hey guys, we're trying to plan our honeymoon and we wanted to do some sight seeing in oregon. Only problem is its really hard to plan on where to go from looking at the oregon website and without talking to a travel agent... (we're going low budget). Anyway, the plan is to do some theme parks/sight seeing in cali, then drive up to oregon and do some sight seeing (or anything else of interest) then drive back. We're going for 2 weeks, with cali taking up about 8 or 9 days... Can anyone recommend some really nice looking spots in the summer time? and the closest cities to get a hotel in, etc. Thank you

hey, i see no one has replied to your question on here, so i will try and do my best to give ya a couple ideas, I lived on the coast for 18 years and enjoyed all 18 years, a good thing to do is travel the coast stopping in towns like coos bay, florance (go dune rideing), newport (Great community with a bay front for traveling gifts and such), lincoln city (casino and beaches), then astoria another good coastal town, then travel inland for awhile and visit portland that has a bunch shopping places and malls, then if you come in the winter months then you can travel over to bend (central oregon) and ski the slopes or if your going in the summer you can do alot of hikeing and white water rafting. if you have any questions or specific things you want to do in oregon then ask me and i can probably tell you the best places to do them. hope i helped you a little!
Bill
