Man just stick with weed...that other stuff will have you drooling on your self and pooping your pants in a mental institution in a few years...not worth it dudes. I've seen the effects of chronic drug use on people while I worked as a social worker at a local mental health center. That is no life at all

Weed, however, is really no different than alcohol or tobacco since it's natural (assuming it's not laced with anything).

Ya, I know a dude who's all f up from x (probably a bad dose), not drooling on himself, but lets put it this way: he will never have a steady job, own a car, and will live with mom and dad for ever...quite sad...

Oh, by the way I'll light one up for you tonight

PS: I just realized I've been a daily smoker for 14 years. I have a good job, college degree, buying a house soon in So Cal (which is no small feat), been promotoed 2 times in 2 years at my job (which is unheard of)....ya, I guess I'm a bumbling idiot with drool coming out the side of my mouth...

Ok, bro. So you can direct me toward legit (unbiased) research that shows that marijuana causes serious health (mental or otherwise) problems?

I don't mean to be an a**hole, but I hear this kinda stuff on tv...here's your brain on drugs, etc. And yes, some (read many) drugs can or will seriously f**k you up (no question about that), but pot????

I have never, ever, ever heard of a marijuana smoker getting permanent brain damage or other serious side efects from toking. It might make you a bit "slower"---I mean that...how can I say...very mildly "slower" mentally...If I quit toking for a month (which I did once) I can think maybe .05% better...so there is that, but what else?

Also, I will agree 100% that weed can kill your motivation (some worse than others). Hence, I only smoke in the eving (after work, etc). I'll admit I have friends who sit on their asses all day and smoke and get nothing accomplished. But I guarantee if they quit they would be fine as anyone...

Anyway, sorry bout the rant and nothing against you bro...:)

You're a med student?? Seriously? The worse that really happens if you're smart about smoking is chronic bronchitis (pardon the pun) and terrible short-term memory loss. Which, after years of smoking daily, can add up to you forgetting a lot of stuff. However, when you quit smoking, it all is just fine. I smoked everyday for a little over 6 years and haven't smoked in a year, I'm just fine. The only problems that I have with my health are from doing a ridiculous amount of coc and taking (at one point) 5 - 8 pills of x a night. As soon as I quit I had every test possible done to see what damage I had done to myself.. It’s ugly. However, after I quit smoking pot nothing had changed in those tests except where I excelled in my memory. A med graduate told this to me. PhD baby.
There are reasons why there are quite a few doctors that support the legalization of marijuana man. All the things that you are saying is bs hype that was originally started just to have it made illegal. I think politically having it legalized is the best idea that you could have.
Think about it, a huge chunk of the "drug war murders" are from dealers crossing into other dealers territory, most of them selling bud. That would be completely abolished if it were the government selling it the same way they sell liquor or cigarettes. On top of that, marijuana could bring BILLIONS in revenue from taxes to a government that is, to say the very least, broke as a bad joke.

All around, legalizing marijuana is the best idea for the entire country, just some people can't get passed all the ignorance pumped out in the 70's and 80's from people that pretty much had mistaken marijuana for lsd. Either legalize it, or get to making alcohol and tobacco illegal - cuz they actually are killing people daily. It adds up to what, every 6 minutes that a cigarette smoker dies? Cross that with the national average of (I think) 12-13 people dying yearly from overdosing on pot. hmmm.

/rant

Sorry for the superdooper long post fellas..

Well, the way that pot gets you high is basically an allergic reaction. Some people are more allergic than others therefor they od. There's a lot of rumors as to how this is done i.e. smoke twice your weight and blah blah blah. It all just comes down to each persons anatomy. As a matter of fact, I can't find any proof that anyone has either. hmmm. The only things that I can find are when marijuana was combined with other drugs and/or alcohol.
another + for pot. I'm hungry and gonna go get some whataburger breakfast.

Tomcat is the F-14, F-16 is the Falcon, and last i checked the F-16 was never used on carriers or by the navy

When i got my licens suspended i had always wanted a quad so i financed this guy, bought it brand new in 04 bone stock and every penny of my pay checks went to this thing since i didnt have any car insurance or car to pay for gas, so it was easy to dump loads of money into this thing, I barely even get the chance to ride it anymore and dont even have anything to haul it around with but me and my best bud make some trips to the dunes ocasionaly and play around in the sand.
