Finding a Digicam

Check this out:

http://www.steves-digicams.com/diginews.html

Search the "Reviews." Excellent source of GOOD information.

I have a Canon 4.1 MegPixel Elph. Very happy with it and the software is a breeze to use, especially when e-mailing your pix.

That is a great camera, I just purchased the Canon PowerShot SD700 IS.
The only reason I purchased this one instead of the one you got, was because of the Image Stabilizer, which is great when using the video!
Congratulations on your new purchase.

Well i was diking around with it and set it on superfine setting.. whatever that is.. And my pic went from 500k to 2.8 MB .. But something still seems wrong to me.. When im zooming in on the 2 pics even tho there 1.5MB apart they both start to get fuzzy at about the same time... ( 6-7 zoom ins) .. At 6 megapixel i should be able to see the fly turds from 10-15 feet away without the thing starting to pixelize right?

Should i purchase the Best Buy 4 year warranty for $60??? I almost did when i bought the cam but didnt think i needed it.. But now seeing how small it is and the screen so vulnerable etc etc Just for my concern i was gonna think about buying it, since i have 14 days from purchase to add it on.. Just overall when i was buying it i didnt get it because i was just thinkiing about the cam problems.. Not if i drop it or anything .. Sooo worth it or no??

i did. the guy i was talking to said canons are really hard to fix if something goes worng with them, and most of the time if something does go worng with your camera they send it to canon and give you the same model if its still in stock or a camera of the same value when you first purchased the camera. plus i like the idea of getting it serviced and cleaned when ever i need to.

i dont think i could explain all that but here are some basics:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....45&id=cat12098

i think also you get to replace a battery once if it goes bad while under the service plan. and if the sales guy was liying about that then he got me to buy the extra battery (came with a case and shoulder strap) for nothing.
