VMA's were terrible. They've gotten progressively worse. Best two performances were by T.I. and Panic at the Disco. And YTF does Sara Silverman still have a job???? She's the most unfunny person I've ever seen. I've seen people make fun of people but her sh*t is very crass, pointless and incredibly stupid "humor".
Ah, maybe next year.... |

I didn't watch it, BUT i did hear that Ok Go did their treadmill dance live. Ok Go is an awesome band and if you've never seen the music video, go check it out. You won't be disappointed.

that's a sick video and yes, the VMA's get worse and worse each year. Speeches? Seriously, the mtv awards were meant to make fun of other award shows. Not to mention MTV couldn't write a funny skit if their life depended on it. I love how not only they no longer play music on MTV, but now during the music awards they have more skits and speeches and "save the world" shit from al gore then they do MUSIC.
Not to mention the fact that who do celebs think they are telling us about the turmoil we're in? They all drive escalads with huge rims getting 3mpg. AND perhaps al gore should have done some research about global warming. Perhaps he didn't realize that were STILL coming out of an ICE AGE, so uh yea, the earth is getting warmer. |

Talk about disappointing. I tuned in to see Jack Black- Nacho Libre was one of my favorite movies so far this year, and he was so lame. I could hardly believe it was him. Nothing he said or did was funny. And most of the performances were "eh" and I agree with Skittle about Panic in the Disco and TI, but I like Shakira, too. I mean come on, belly dancing-gotta love it plus she can sing, too. I finally tuned out when Sarah Silverman hit the screen. I can't believe I kept watching and I could have been sleeping.

OK Go's performance was good. Beyonce's was good. But Ludacris and Pharell's was horrible. The song was horrible to begin with and not a good song to do live, and the Pussycat Dolls were just eye candy and singing the chorus (which by the way is just like the chorus to every rap song since 2001.) Sarah Silverman = not funny. Jack Black, I know you're funnier than that, buck up man. Overall, yes the award shows are getting worse, this one in particular.
