Personally, I like Rockport's Claremont -I work for a bank and that's about the limit of business casual (norm would be Rockport's Solicitor).

I have a similar dress code as you and I wear loafers or dress shoes. Thing is, I have orthotics. Great investment. Perhaps you should look into your work benefits and see if you can get some!

"J's on my feet... I'm on that Patron, so get like me!"

Gotta have my J's. There's no need for any breaking in's. Like Taco Bell, "they're good to go!".

My step-dad is always on his feet. He won't wear anything but Rockports.

Ecco's are really nice, but pricey! I'd go with Rockports. Affordable comfort.

Merrells are nice too. I used to wear those for hiking a few years ago. Their boots were a bit heavy. Things have probably changed since then though.

My job is business casual. Merrell's are awesome. Very comfortable and they have several different styles now other than the clog- some of them tie. Check out their website - www.merrellboot.com. You can then click on men's casual and select the style. I'm wearing topo oxford pros right now.
Rockports are good too, but I think the Merrells hold up better. That's my experience anyway.

Rockports all the way, I lived in mine for a few years. The only downside is if you do allot of walking on the streets they will ware out very quickly...but it’s worth it

I wear Florsheim at work. They're pretty comfortable for the most part and don't wear out too early.
