Facebook + Cars? | New Website!
Hello,
Some of you might kno me as a "Ohio Pansy" others might just have never seen me, or some might know me from my Angry Plate >_< thred... but anyways... what i do and who i am, i am a programmer at STERIS corp. the main building is in Mentor, Ohio and that is were i work from, i have done programming for them on websites on the intranet i also get to answer phone calls for support... So, i dont kno who else is a college student in here who uses facebook but i think it is a really nice clean website, on the other hand... i dont know how many have used cardomain... im not that big of a fan on cardomain, i just dont like the way it is run... SOOO for us college kids who do not have anything else to do with our lives i am creating a website, for any facebook users, that will be able to show off there cars, talk with buddys of theres, get events togather, form groups, and pretty much everything u can do with facebook, but with your CAR too, it will have 2 different profile pages, one with your facebook information, then u can switch it over to your Car profile view... This has just mostly been all development and has just barely hit the edge of the yard of starting... so ihave like 2 pages done.. but u can see my progress as i come if u have facebook... It's a cool idea and can't wait to see the outcome. I know absolutly nothing about facebook so I can't say much about that. One thing though...

I wish I had Facebook, otherwise I'd give you some feedback. My college (San Jose State University) is pretty much a commuter school, so it's incredibly difficult to get a sjsu.edu e-mail address.

ya, my spelling is not the best... i soon will make registration once the site is complete for non-facebook users to be able to login and sign up for some use of the Site but not all...
and it will also be able to show a map of were your friends with that car are, or any car you search.. or just your friends :-)... - Hopefully.

well right now, the only links that work are friends and profiles... each page takes alot of work at the moment... but im trying as fast as i can.. but the damn girlfriend just takes sooo much freaking time

Ok, currently i am working on the database, so if u try to access it next day or 2.. might be VERY slow.. tomorrow ill get a good chunk of work done because i got all day pretty much, well until woman comes over
 but ya i love working on this and im SOOO excited to get it done
