Ok so right now im pretty upset about what i am hearing...

Markups on Si's.
My dealer is a dumbarse for not ordering blue when i am #1 on the waiting list.
Parents kickin my arse for not having a car yet.
bla bla bla


I am acually looking at used cars now. And could use opinions.


I have around 20k to spend. What kind of nice sports cars can i get with this? Can be used..... cant be american (dont hate)....cant be over 20k miles.... nothing older than 2003


I was acutally looking at the 350z base.... found out that the blue book value of them is like 19-20k..... Acutally found a realy nice 2003 12k miles, 6 speed for sale. However the link said it was posted in September lol... so im guessing it is prob gone. I really dont look at people's asking prices (this guy wanted 22k and blue book is only 19.7k.... prob woulda offered 20k)



Anyways im getting pretty damn impatient... and was wondering what kind of options i have. Thanks

First let me say it does suck that they did not order the blue when you were number one on the list. I have a question though: As my dealer stated, sometimes they are limited on what they 'can' order and blue may not have been available for your dealer on that particular order. Have you asked this, or did they just confirm that they did not even bother to order it? At the Honda dealer where my deposit is, they are ordering off the deposit list first, barring an restrictions by Honda (i.e., limits on navi availability, color restrictions on orders, etc.). They can order whatever they want, though they may not be able to order certain combinations at all times. Additionally, their coverage, and supplemental allocations are not ordered, they just get what Honda sends them, so whatever comes, is what comes for those two volumes.

Now, 20K...used Mustang 5.0 GT, Eclipse GTS, rarely seen base 02 350Z, others I am sure. I was in the same boat (looking at February for delivery) until a silver Si was shown on the supplemental allocation for December and no one on the list in front of me wanted the Silver w/o navi. Yay.

yea im going to see a 2003 350z 20k miles this weekend... its in NY tho =( does that mean taxes will kill me if i choose to buy? =P

looks nice kabs! a lot of blue lol but i wish u would wait to get the si... lol either way im sure your going to be happy.

That car looks nice. Did you run a carfax to make sure it's clean? I think a new Si would be better.
