I've been in a few and I actually learned a lot but man, there was a lot of disagreements in some cases.
I'm currently in one right now. =) Been with him for two years and we learned A LOT about each other and our cultures but we see things and handle situations very differently. |

I dated a Japanese girl once. She was more "American" than me probably. I think in the next 100 years or so, the whole world will become a cross-cultural mixed-race. I actually look forward to it. Much less discrimination and hatred.

For those who was in a interacial relationship? What was your race and his/her race? Did ANYONE ever give you problems or opinions about it? |

I think those relationships are spicy. You'll never know what's going to happen or what the other person will do, based on their cultural essence. I love'em. I've dated many Hispanics; Guatamalan, Mexican, El Salvadorian, uhhh, many Asians; Chinese, Korean, Philippine, Laotion, Khmer, and also, African American, and Caucasian. And with that, I've dated a couple of Interacial babies too!!! Keke.
Not all at once though. I love'em all. Each and everyone is different. Different beliefs. Different religion. Different lifestyle. Different standards. And as of right now, I've been with my Vietnamese darling for 4 years now.

I'm asian (Laos, Thai and Chinese) and my boyfriend is hispanic and white. I love the experience I've had with him. We just have different opinions on how we handle situations or some cases.

I'm in one right now. I'm Vietnamese, my girl is Caucasian (1/4 Polish, 1/4 Italian, 1/4 English, 1/4 German). We've been together for almost a year and a half.
It only gets slightly weird now and then only because she's starting to realize that, as the oldest son in a Viet family, I have a lot of responsibilities. So that pretty much gets in the way of a few things. Other than that, everything is good. She's learning more about Viet culture and such more than I am about "American" culture, mainly because I was born here and can't speak Vietnamese that much (part of the reason why I can't get with Asian girls). When we first started going out, we used to get a lot of looks from people. When you think of an Asian being with a Caucasian, you think AF (Asian Female) and WM (White Male), not the other way around, so it through people off a bit. I used to notice it a lot, she never really did. There were a few times she noticed, though; that's when I know it was bad, like someone was super staring at us. But it's all good. Eff the haters. |

I'm hispanic (Puerto Rican) and my wife is white (German, Italian, Polish). Haven't had any problems with her family. She hasn't had any problems with mine.
In the past I haven't really dated many hispanic girls. They scare me. LOL, I live in NYC and the New Yorican girls here stab you when they get mad at you. I'd rather be yelled at. LOL |

Yeah, some asian people has given me crap because they think its better for the old-fashion way. Asian should stick with asians. Well apparently, they don't know. I come from a big family members of interacial relationships.
I have white, black and hispanic family members. =) Race doesn't exist in our relationship which is why I love it because we are both the same on the inside. |
