8th Civic Poker thread

Just wondering if anyone else play poker around here. I mostly play online and go to a local casino now and then, nothing really high stakes. I did get a chance to check out the WSOP this year, what an impressive series of tournaments. Anyone else?

hell yeah! I watch the wsop every night! Its good TV, seeing Phil Helmuth call someone a "stupid european!" or whatever he said, funny stuff! I play on FullTiltPoker.com pretty successfully. I've played at local casinos but I always lose, I must not have a very good poker face.

I play weekly with friends. Poker is fun especially when you catch soeone lying. :þ

What's more fun is Racing to get to poker... I mean... after you get out of the car... have drinks and shit faced!

I am!

I'm addicted to no limit hold'em. I spend so much time watching poker videos (High Stakes Poker - can't wait for season 5, Poker After Dark, Heads Up, etc)

I don't play online though because it's an entirely different and much more exciting game when your playing in real life.

I usually just play with friends and have a $20 buy-in, games like that.

I used to play a hell of a lot on Full Tilt Poker. That was way back then though. I haven't touched poker in wayyy too long. SoCal poker night? *hint hint*

I play way too much poker. I made a thread on here a few months ago and not to many poeople were really into poker. I mostly play online, going to the casino once a month or so. As far as games go, I play whatever sounds fun. Lately I have been playing HORSE games and PLO. I am actually playing in a limit hold'em tournament right now on FTP...

I used to play a lot of NL holdem 25 or 50 bucks buy in tourney in casinos. Now I only play online. I got so many bad beat stories in these small tournies it's not even funny.

I also like 2-7 triple draw, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Low, and Razz. I guess I just like to play cards, I play them all

Hell yeah, im playin on full tilt poker right now. I love poker, watching it and playing it. I suck at it in person, I get too nervous when I get a good hand. Need to work on my poker face.

I play a bit online and in person. There are a couple poker rooms here in town that have a few different games, my favorite of which is $2/4 hold-em. I swear I should play more because in all the times I've played I've only lost once, and it was a bad beat to my buddy! I even used to play real money online, I was up about $100 and then gave it all back and decided that was the end of that. Playing online takes a lot of the skill out of it because you can't read people online.
