10 most expensive cars to insure

Just read an article over at msnbc.com written by insurance adjusters about car insurance. Seems between 2002 and 2005 the cars listed below were the most expensive autos to insure. This was based on factors like cost of replacing parts due to accident, theft probability, etc.

Here are the top 10:

1 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution
2 Mercedes CL-Class
3 Dodge SRT-4
4 Subaru Impreza WRX
5 Jaguar XK (convertible)
6 Lexus IS 300
7 Honda S2000
8 Acura RSX
9 Nissan 350Z
10 Jaguar XJ

Shouldn't #9 be Acura RSX-S?

Funny reading this.... I saved $1000 bucks a year switching from my 03 Civic EX to my new 06 Si.... :P Car insurance is so nebulous….
