I'm sorry Ole Blu, your car is dead. There is no hope. I guess you'll just have to hand it off to me. It's ok, I'm sure I'll find someone who would be willing to keep it as a yard ornament...

This must be a joke, right! Did you know that water wasn't designed to be a lubricant for your engine. You've ruined your engine if indeed the engine is knocking! Good luck in getting Honda to Warranty your engine. This is the most stupidest thing I've read on this board to this date. You've starved all your engine bearings, and now you spun a rod bearing if indeed the engine is knocking. I've never heard of a thing using distilled water to clean the inside of your engine. Water ruins the engine is you get water in it somehow. It doesn't matter is its distilled water, or regular water. I hope that your seriously joking here! What a darn waste of a K20 engine!

I actually seen a video where some kid did this to an old civic....they drained the oil and put water in...then did burnouts and pinged it off rev limiter....think the vid was over 8 minutes long! in the end the thing still ran!!!

Hey BLU I did the same thing today and my car is running just fine.

Did you use too much distilled water? That could have been it! :) Maybe you should try it again.

Second times a charmed.

ahh on that note, my Step sister back in 1999 had an 84' accord, she lost her gas cap and was using a rag to plug it! A four-wheeld molitov coctail waiting to happen there!

Drain the engine again and put kitty litter in it so it'll soak up the excess water and oil and it'll port and polish your internals as well. Then just flush it out again and everything is cool! It works I did it with my 92' Volvo

/\ in response to the last posts above. Engines can actually run for longer than you think with no oil or water for oil. There's a bunch of good ones on youtube. If youtube wasn't blocked at work I'd post em.
